DEALERS INCENTIVE TOUR TO SOUTH AFRICA

General Tyre being a largest tyre manufacturer of Pakistan has recently arranged tour program for the top dealers all over Pakistan based on their top performances during July- Dec 2014. As always GTR takes the initiative & others follow us, this time too, the destination selected was Cape Town – South Africa & the dealers informed accordingly. The tour was schedule for 4 nights & 5 days and we picked up one of the best hotel “Southern Sun Waterfront” for their accomodation. Besides this, itinerary of the tour was excellent and accordingly the arrangenment was superb. They visited different places like Ostritch farm, Cape of Good Hope, Signal Hill, A scenic city tour passing the Houses of Parliament, City Hall, Castle and Slave Lodge, The Bo-Kaap, traditional Malay Quarter, Green Market Square,District Six and Blouberg Beach and many more. Though the weather was cold and cloudy and some times rainy too. The min temperature was 10 & max 20 celcius but it did not stop the enjoyment and everyone out there enjoyed the trip.

FACTORY VISIT BY HYDERABAD MOTORCYCLE RETAILERS / VULCANIZERS

On February 21, some selected retailers & vulcanizers / rim aligners of motorcycle tyres from Hyderabad Zone visited GTR factory. The main thrust of their visit was to show them the process of tyres manufacturing specially motorcycle tyre plant. So that when they go back to their places they have a full confidence in General brand. During their visit, they were given a brief about the products being manufactured, by the senior staff of GTR. They took the round of the factory & appreciate the on going process. On this occasion Mr Mohammad Shahid Hussain, Chief Executive / MD was also present there where he addressed the visitors.

This exercise will help promoting General brand in the vicinity of Hyderabad and its adjacent areas.

GENERAL TYRE (GTR) SPONSORED WORLD TOURISM DAY

Recently, General Tyre (GTR) sponsored World Tourism Day which was celebrated on Sept. 27, 2017 at one of the world highest peak Khunjerab Pass which is 15397 FT above sea level. The festival was arranged by Cross Route Club (CRC). Around 200 bikers took part in this event. They journey embarked upon from Lahore and it took bikers three days to reach at roof of the world. One of the salient feature was that the national anthem of Pakistan was also sung unanimously by the participants. The motorcyclists were provided specially developed theme warm jackets carrying GTR & CRC logo on them.
